That is fucking gorgeous! How much is it likely to make?

Hard to say. They are so rare there's no reference point. I guess a Commodore or something like that would go for 60/80,000SEK???

Is that about £6-8000? If so then a good price for a stunning rarity like that.

10,000SEK is about 875 GBP at the moment. I'm only guessing on the price - it may go for more because of its condition, or there may be not much interest

I feel the need for a trip to Sweden coming on.... Do you know if Norway is similar? My sister lives in Stavanger so could be a useful stopping off place.

Stavanger to the Swedish border must be about 7/8 hours by car if thats what you're thinking. Norway is more expensive than Sweden in most things...dont know if that goes for aged cars as well.

That's knackered that plan already :-( I guess it will need to be a tent and a big fat stash of Swedish currency one summer........

Rent yourself a little wooden summer house by one of the lakes in mid Sweden. Hunt old cars during the day (there are loads!), beer and fishing in the evening. Miles better than all that 'sitting on the beach' nonsense

My sister owns one in Sweden but no idea where exactly, I think it's somewhere out in the sticks but that could be a good thing I suppose. This is beginning to sound like an interesting plan.

Here's another pricy Camry:

Got higher mileage than the truly delightful estate also on eBay at present, and they want £2500 for it. Pretty local to me, perhaps I should visit and ask them just where did they get that price from?

The maroon one strikes me as being for sale at one of those dealerships where it's one of their toys and they're not fussed if it sells.

I scrolled down and saw the picture and got genuinely excited, I am not generally a fan of American cars (but moving that way after some stuff on here) but have always loved the SS, my heart rate went up despite knowing I couldn't afford it anyway. Then I scrolled further for the link................

That must me how people feel at those dodgy sales when they think they have bought a 96" TV only to find it's a brick in a box.

These pre-facelift Volvo 400s are increasingly rare these days (some might say deservedly so). £500 gets you this low-mileage automatic in giffer grey with matching scrapes and an erratic temperature gauge. Unfortunately it does appear to be owned by someone who hasn't discovered landscape mode on their camera.

I imagine that would be perfectly adequate as simple comfy transport. Not exciting in the slightest but inoffensive too. I wouldn't mind rolling around in that and I think I'd prefer it to an equivalent facelift. Did they do preface-lifts with headlight wipers?
