Man, it happens every time, you give a warning, that seems almost aimed exclusively at me, and I read the fucking ad, one day I might heed that warning.

Must be some form of self-defeating personality disorder.

I know they're an acquired taste, but I've had the horn for a Lagonda since I was a kid!

Same here. It's astonishingly similar to some dream car sketches I made shortly before it was launched.

No, I just don't listen. That's what my ex wife says anyway!

That Daimler is the nuts.   Shame somebody had to hammer that badge into the glove box lid but everything else is lovely.   That Minor in the background as a daily and that would be me sorted.....

Morris Minor "Listing again as the buyer had a change of heart before he even came to pick her up :( This is my awesome 1953 Morris Minor.  She's a project that I dearly wanted to complete, but sadly don't have the time."

This is very nice in a Homburg hat type way - some problems but stated 40,000 from new - these were beautifully engineered if a little eccentric with their pre-select gearbox.

My Rover P3 has this exact combination inlet silencer and aircleaner:

It works beautifully, the idea being if you get everything else sorted, you can't hear if the engine is running until you open the bonnet.

Servicing it, however, is a right royal pain.  You see, it doesn't open.

The idea is, as far as I've worked out, is you slosh the end with the metal gauze in a tin bucket full of paraffin until no more gunk comes out, then you pour engine oil in AND THEN CLEAN UP THE MESS YOU'VE JUST MADE.

If anybody has a better idea, I'd love to know, really.

They don't rust traditionally...The steel rivets under the body can result in surface rust. SnrYoof tested a 2005 model which had bubbling on the pillars.
