As well as the two Tercels, the same seller is also getting rid of this...

I love all these 4x4 Estates but, which one to bid on???? I think the Subaru just pips the Tercels for me.

I'm inclined to agree. There used to be a smart green one locally and I'm gutted that I didn't leave my number with the owners.

Wonder what happened to the red one I helped Vek buy?

it is the right colour (poo brown or beige are the colours for me on an allegro)

its got the right engine an A-series

and its the series 3 which i prefer.

BUT there is no test on it, seems the headlamps don't work (fuse or bad earth, and the fish swimming around the O/S one) and play in a track rod. if that IS all then not too much to put it on the road.

£795 for the car and £300 to bring in north as it will have to go to the in-laws initialy.

to say i'm keen is an understatement. and i even have the money sorted.

but the copart vanden pals is still avaliable? choices choices...

has anyone bought a car blind, and it turned out ok? the last one i got blind didn't. it was a golf described as mint but was in fact fucked and rotten.

advice needed (other than just BUY IT, BUY IT NOW and WCPGW...)

I never knew they did a 5 speed box for the A series. Sounds a bit suspect to me, is there anyone local to it who can have a look for you. With regard to copart it may look cheap but their fee's are high and you need to be a member to bid on their cars. Membership is about 50 quid a year. I jacked mine in this yaer as I haven't bought from them in ages as they get strong money at auction plus the fees it is often cheaper to buy off ebay.

Yup, my XJ-S, Rover SD1, Jeep and Golf were all bought blind off eBay.  I was expecting rust so was pleasantly surprised when there wasn't much.  Golf turned out to have HGF but was otherwise ok.  Audi and Discovery were also blind, but bought from trusted shiters.

In fact the only time recently I've been to see a car before buying was a Lancia HPE a couple of years ago.  I put down a deposit, but walked away after having it inspected.  Since then, I figured I don't know shit from sherbet so might as well jump right in (but not overpay).

This is nice, and very fairly priced I reckon.  Looks minty, one owner, low miles, lots of history, right engine and gearbox and you've got to love an eggcrate grille.  Would.

Check out the interior, too.  Mmmmmmm.

Uncle bought one exactly the same colour as this brand new-NBO 244P if I remember correctly-three years later riddled with the old tin worm-didn't rust as badly as my other uncles brand new Princess LUH 98P-that had rust when it was delivered.

Apart from cars from Shiters?  Yes, I've bought two from the Bay in the last two years: Scarlet Skateboard and Hyacinth.  Scarlet Skateboard was a raging success, I loved it, my mate loved it enough to buy it, and I loved it enough to have it back.  I was gutted when it was molested by a Honda.  Hyacinth, meanwhile, is a joy to drive.  She needs a bit of welding but will repay the investment with quality time.
