what are the collectives thoughts on this?

How desperate are you for an Allegro? Our one needs a bit of work for a test, but when other projects have calmed down a bit ill get this sorted and then it might well be up for sale. It'll be cheaper than the brown one and would easily drive you home. Might be a few months before it's available though...

That Allegro will be a 4 speed.

Quite possibly sporting a five speed gearknob, possibly even built with one..

Mini fans would have raped it years ago if it really had a five speed A series with the gearbox in the correct place.

^Why do things like this Montego always turn up when I'm oversupplied and overstretched already?  Dammit!

I'd love that Rover 825D, they have an ideal competency:shite ratio. 40MPG, veg friendly and loads of torque, but it's a Rover 800. Super comfy, but it's a Rover 800.

how bad do i need one? i have a serious need for an allegro, in spite of what my other half says, but i don't have* to have one straight away right now.

and it would be nicer to be able to drive the car home and use it straight away!

with the weather been cold, wet windy and dark at the moment i have little enthusiasm for going out and tinkering on cars at the minute.

the longer i wait then the better really as it means i can save up some more monies, and i would rather buy a known car rather than something some fella has listed up on fleabay.

This was posted a few pages back, 306 XLD, it is in the technical guides section. Didn't sell first time but was instantly re-listed. Owner has confirmed via message that looking for £150-£200. Ridiculous photo though! under 4 hours left.

that sunny coooop, i'm surprised that there are 7 on the road and another 14 on sorn.

they seemed to be a really common car once apon a time, just like a metro or rover 213.

a cannot believe that there are as few of theme left as that. :-(

This Rover 800 diesel looks class, but it's about £1500 overpriced.

There is a crack In the Sump pan and it is leaking oil, but I will have this fixed if some one wants before any exchange of money as long as they definitely want to buy her! The ABS light comes on and off since I changed over the CV Joints, It’s the NS and I think it’s the sensor, again I will have this sorted.

There is also a wheel bearing going but I have one ready to replace and again I can sort this out.

She does have a few stone chips and scratches which are touched up but is generally very tidy.

The dash is lifting but I haven't been too fussed about fixing it.

GLWTS.
