I don't know about anyone else but if Mazda put that front end on a coupe and kept the same engines & pillarless doors they would be way more appealing to me. The front is so sleek and awesome but everything past it is shoulder shrugging levels of appealing. There's just something about the rear end that puts me off, it's too tall somehow. Maybe they look better in person.

Wuz!

You read my mind! I spoke to the seller about that Saviem depanneuse yesterday.

Executor sale (& I clearly recall the hassle of 14 seperate signatures to release the Seat Ronda) coupled with a very limited knowledge of condition, sitting at least a year & borked tyres, probably puts me off.

But if the price came down a bit.....

Sowed the seed, anyway?

(The car in the ad. is white but I can't post eBay pictures)

I think this would be perfect for taking the grandchildren to school. The trunk looks big enough for all of them.

1965 CHRYSLER CROWN IMPERIAL COUPE

No, it is not. It's a 1965 Imperial Crown Southampton 2-Door.

There was no such thing as a "Chrysler Imperial" since 1955 (show me one single Chrysler badge on these cars), and a "Crown Imperial" is something completely different,

namely this:

Why do so many people struggle to get this right?

Besides, six-and-three-quarter bags for a shonky isopon Imperial is a tad stiff no matter how you look at it.

Also, airbagging these is impossible without major surgery due to torsion bar suspension.

Something expensive, if they are buying a £650 oil can.

Round here the same money would get you two dead citroens, a ford ka, a laguna and a honda legend and still have £450 change.

The type of gentleman that takes his 1923 Bentley to Goodwood Festival of Speed would buy an oil can like that for his garage.
