Only on here can I say that that is my favourite Granada mk2 wheel and hubcap setup, without any fear of being thought weird.

We've all got a favoured hubcap for every model of car ever made, haven't we?

life not miserable enough?

You need a P38

Needs quite a few bits doing,

Yeah ok, i'm handy with spanners and hammers

has a misfire (needs coilpack as you can see it arcing)

hmmm, might be dropped liner / cracked block / dreaded hgf that these suffer from

Brakes have gone a bit spongy, headlining fallen down, exhaust blowing. Air suspension fault ( I have the lead and software but didnt have a windows laptop) I have fitted valves so it can be raised manually. Drivers seat has a patch on it.

FFS is that it? how long is the ticket?

Not sure how long MOT is, I'll find out. Not sure how many miles or how many miles new engine has done, I'll find out.

I would love to make this work really nicely, leave it looking like it is for the most part and just use the hell out of it. I wonder if a more modern Suzuki/Vauxhall 3-cylinder or something similar could work in it for a bit of extra grunt without being over the top.

The little Reliant engines/boxes are really popular in these

I bet the seller would have remembered if it had a long MOT, but being a short MOT its all too easy to not mention forget.

Say I fancied a nice coupé to waft about in, on the basis that if I don't do it now I never will, so I could get one now, have fun for six months or so, to get it out of my system and then sell on. Three to choose from and in ascending order of price

Not a fan of white on these, but at least the wob should show up fairly easily and has a long MOT.

The paint scheme on the Alvis would match the Land Rover, says it has a gearbox whine but will come with a new MOT, although it didn't show up on DVLA

The most expensive, it's in Ireland and the MOT runs out in November

If I were daft enough to go for one of them, which is least likely to bankrupt me immediately and be the easiest to sell on again?

(edited to add, I blame all the recent Rolls, Bentley, Jaguar, Daimler purchases on here for even thinking about it)

I'd go for the Bristol, but I've no idea which would be least likely to bankrupt you and be easy to sell.

Isn't the sensible* option a V12 XJS though?

Bristol I reckon.

Alvis probably take as much again to sort, and no one will want a red one.

XJ-C No. XJ-S of half the age if a Jag is needed.

12 months test on that Range Rover camper thingy - I wasn't expecting that! :)

That green mini is bloody lovely. I bet it's going to go for pretty decent money (and rightfully so).

Not sure about the front intercooler and the price but it looks clean for one of these.
