Was it the bit about me making a reasonable offer? I'm not sure why that would be so bad. I might have offered more than you want. or I might not. What I would have done is point out every single fault, and justified my offer to you based on that. And then you might have counter offered.

Anyway, I'm not back in the area until next week, I'll probably have bought a different car, and you will have sold it to someone else.

These things seem to have passed that point of being barried up. Non fucked with version are starting to look appealing especially for 600 quid.

Clean VTSs are making strong money now.

As for the VTR, there are a fair amount of tidy ones around, they're cheap because they're relatively common (compared to VTSs) and seemingly not as desirable(?), with 100hp - 20 less than the VTS and roughly on par with a 205 1.6GTI.

 

These really are a successor to the 205GTI in every way.

This is the v8 discovery I was on about in the news thread. Fuck knows what the nudge bars are for. Car auctions, boats or nudging pensioners cars out the way in the super market car parks? Who knows? Also the engines are pretty much guaranteed to fail in some manor or another. WANT.

Trying to insure a cat b rs4 will be fun.

I looked at an m3 a while back that was cat b but I sacked it off for this reason ( the seller said it was cat c but I did an hpi check ) as they shouldn't be on the road .

 

 

Category B: body shell should be crushed. Signifies extensive damage, although some parts are salvageable. Should never re-appear on road, although reclaimed parts can be used in other road-going vehicles.
