It seems really bizarre to me that someone will have gone to a huge amount of trouble to create a "replica" that falls short on so many levels

£1500 is going rate for a working one.

Is there such a thing?

I like the axe-shaped hole in the tailgate, too.  Sadly it appears to have been made from the outside, or that would definitely betoken an interesting story.

Edit:  Do people still say 'betoken'?  Or am I just stuck in the 18th Century?

Just you,Jane Austen and maybe Brian Sewell.

I had to look it up- it was like reading LJKS when I was 12, always had a dictionary to hand.

I hate the back bumper on those m535i's. Great cars though bit mine was a shed and had an autobox and flazzled it's ecu.

My old one-a 535iSE manual-same spec as an M535 but without the kit. Except mine, as my mate wrecked the valance driving it off some ramps so a M535 rear bumper was acquired to hide the damage...

The price is way beyond anything I could afford but nonetheless I can't help wanting this very, very much.  And to be honest, if you're in the market, £9k will otherwise get you a pretty depressing and probably not very reliable 60-plate Transit LWB which won't get any attention whatsoever for your business so why not?

Seems many values at this cash monies.

Does it look like a slight colour mismatch on the tailgate here?

May be just a trick of the light - paintwork looks fine in the other photo....

I think this is the one Danny Hopkins from Practical Classics bought for £150.

I read it in last months issue whilst on the shitter.
