I could live with it being Chav White ,I could just about accept the steering wheel in the passenger seat. £18,000 classified ad, how much are kidneys worth, it can't hurt to still have a mortgage at 80 can it ? Surely immoral earnings is an old fashioned term ,she'd probably enjoy the variety.

But then; " Guide price only, car to be auctioned"

TWATS! Thought it was too good to be true.

Wow!! That is amazing...Is that the remains of the plastic covering on the passenger seat...

Ever driven one of these?

I had a string of shite back at 18 - including (but not exclusively) a Vw Polo, Rover Metro and BMW E30.  My brother had a Maestro as a second car and I took it out for a morning.  Much more impressive than you expect.

That said - 15 years later - it's probably about as impressive as my cleavage.

I have a lot of time for a tidy badermatic Maestro. But sadly neither a demand, nor cash, nor space.

I had one years back in my skint but lunatic days. 1.6 auto with power steering

definately better than you would think. it beat quite a few others when being road raced. 5 up sometimes :)

A mate also had one. got it up to 100mph and the sunroof flew off...

No.

[RANCHO]

Non-Lombardian location also cuts a fair chunk off the collection cost.

Aha!  I had seen that one, but thought it looked knackered in some of the pics - now I've re-read it, that appears to be a second donor car.  So half the Euros of the Italian, and deux pour le prix of one!  :-D

Today is Chrysler/Talbot/Matra day.

Baggy Bagheera, optimistically priced at £1900 given there's a no more fooked white one on eBay attracting no bids at £1200.

But it does have much greenness:

I bought a pair of these in similar condition about 10 years ago. One was £16 the other £30. I scrapped them in the end as I had no interest in them when I had enough. The carbs sold for £50 a pair and were about the only non rotten part on them. The steel frames had no rustproofing under the fibreglass and rot at the thought of rain.

There is a really tidy one on Leboncoin for 3,600 Roros, which is roughly £2.47 atm.

I bet shopping around will pay off in the end. 6,900 is certainly to finance a bad bunga bunga habit.

now that's a shame as I really quiet like them.

I'm not surprised like, been old frenchies and all, but I still rather like them.

There are a few on C&C if you don't mind a trip to the Netherlands.  This one looks nice enough and is £2800 of our defiantly British pounds.

Same seller has a Seat Boccanegra for sale - warning, yoghurt truck collision hazard ahead:
