^^^ Supergran! But what did she do with the rear spoiler?

It must of fell off whilst she was doing 100mph around the TT course.

In parts, one of the more entertaining ads I've read:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1995-Lada-Riv ... 46082014fb

"Do not expect me to take the car to a seaport and send real money to Nirvana from one of those international money transfer services that all look like laundries and are conveniently located in the red-light district."

"Known faults:

- It was built in Russia"

A mate is selling a BX Turbo Diesel estate. I was going to have this, but it's a year too young for my classic insurance. It drives really nicely.

It's a bit of a market tester. Will be interesting to see what it reaches. Top spec diesel estates can fetch decent coin (as in get close to £1000, not exactly breaking the bank!)

I'd love a Citroën DS, but I really want more bootspace, oh, and also for it to look horrible.

Look at this POS:

£666

If she dousnt sell before 9/9/12 then i will withdraw her from market and mot, then i will be re-advertising at £1500 with 12 months mot and body kit removed, de-bumpered, de-stickered, repainted where stickers were.

I would say go for it. However as we are now on the 24th Sept and its still for sale you might need to spend less time preening your mullet and pull your finger out.

Also, DW who are you insured with. I am sure that you might be able to get away with a K reg (92-93). I have insured several cars on the prefix year as opposed to the actual date of registration.

Just in case anyone else wonders what that car was ...

Erich Bitter Automobil GmbH (Bitter) is a premium sports-luxury automobile marque originally produced in Germany and later Austria. Founder Erich Bitter, a former race car driver turned automobile tuner, importer and ultimately designer began crafting his own vehicles after business ventures with Italian manufacture Intermeccanica ended.

The Bitter automobile company initially produced vehicles between 1973 and 1989, selling them in Europe and the United States. Several prototypes were created by Bitter in later years with an eye on possible low-volume production, but none of those plans came to fruition until the Vero in 2007.

Bitter SC

Like the CD, the SC was based on Opel's biggest contemporary model, this time on the Opel Senator, and was sold from 1979-1989 as a coupe, sedan and convertible. The SC was powered by a fuel-injected Opel 3.0 l-I6 (177 hp) or a stroked 3.9 l-I6 that developed 207 hp (154 kW). Body design seems to have been heavily influenced by Ferrari`s 400i.

The first SC model to appear was the Coupe (1979), followed by the Convertible (1982) and the Sedan (1984). Production lasted until 1989 with 461 Coupes, 22 Convertibles and only 5 Sedans built.

This vehicle is the ex-property of Edwin Star

The car of choice for the rich and famous it would appear.

We used to play a game when off our head whe we used to substitute the word WAR! with something else that sounded like it.

"WARDROBES! HA HA, WHAT ARE THEY GOOD FOR.....Hanging up your clothes in, say it again! HUH!"

"WARBLING! HA HA! WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR.......burrrburrrr bur burrrb burr, say it again! HUH!"

And so on.

Is this a repost? Sorry if so but hopefully worth bumping :P

Mileage:248,196

12 months MOT at £700

I love that!! It was always in my head to put a 2.0 5 speed from an sd1 2000 in one of these and this one's been done. all that's missing is the twin carb set up.

It'll be pretty quick and leave the handling behind at around 30 mph but gr8.2 fun

t-series rover 600 turbo engine is a very similiar conversion. It even goes on the same o-series engine mounts. I bet that'd be fun*

I know I'm putting this one up again but its dropped again in price to just €150!!

Its just making me come over all unnecessary I freely admit..

Its been off the road for the last 4 years but is running and driving.

Being that I have a nasty feeling I may have to have AT LEAST a gander at this one now, does anyone here know much about these Lancias? Based on the Tipo as far as I recall? Rot horror stories or crazy unreliability stories may be useful in order to put me off but I think maybe at €150 I could weigh it and still not be too far out of pocket?

Advice please!

Dedras share the floorpan and various bits of suspension and steering etc with Tipo, Alfa 155 and Fiat Coupe. Rust potential is reduced by the fact that most of the shell is galvanised, though they do go in places; there's a corner inside the rear inner wing that's a favourite, but readily accessible because the outer wing unbolts.

Support and bits are available from the Thema Dedra Consortium that's sort of semi-detached to the Lancia Motor Club (http://www.lancia-tdc.co.uk/). If you do buy and decide to break it, please tell them first!

See here for what people advised when I bought mine last year - I paid a little more than that for it and mine didn't run (but is otherwise in reasonable nick, and is a more fanciable 2.0ie turbo): http://autoshite.commlm/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12396

For €150 you should stop thinking about it and just do it

Wasn't this '02 Impala on here before? Only a grand now, it's probly plenty of car for the money.

It's been for sale for a year and a half. I've driven it... brilliant yank tank but my Neon is just as American and a quarter of the price.

There's a whole bunch of interesting stuff in the same Brightwells sale as Peter Bowles's old Bitter SC, some of it ex-Stondon stock. For example:

P1040484.jpg

Consul Classic, £2800-3800

IMG_4073.jpg

Some cracking sutff there Skizzer, I think that Rangey will go for a lot more than the estimate as will quite a bit of other stuff ....

This De Tomaso Deauville with 7k on the clock is ticking all the boxes for me - estimate £14-16k
