I love SVXs!!!!!!!!!! Never been in one but they llok great. I'm sure I read somewhere that there's something horrible that goes on them (gearbox?) but I can't fookin' remember.

It's in the watch list!

SVXs are fine, gearbox issues on early ones as they had no gearbox oil cooler, but anything that's lasted until now should be fine.

Mine was gr9, they're a lardy old beast and not suited to back lane thrashes, but make a fantastic motorway cruiser.

I've had a punt on that SVX - I often regret selling mine.  Prices have (predictably) gone way up since I got rid though, so I doubt I've got much of a chance.

This on the other hand doesn't look as lovely, more autoshite though. £2300 - Really?

Is Hillman Imp (was it) still after a 928?

Not yet, but it is hopefully on the horizon. I am looking at some massively overpriced workshop space tomorrow to crack on with the cars I have been neglecting and need to finish. Once they are done, we can look at getting something like this.

Seen this on eBay:

Im very tempted to buy it, the problem is the seller isn't saying much about what it needs for the mot, if i was to buy it it would need an mot, and need to be able to drive back to Northern Ireland, both the petrol 305s have done this without any issues, but they both had mot on them.

Time to start thinking about the holiday season. Look at this gem of a caravan, love it!

That's lush, I love old caravans.  If the price stays low I might even have a crack at it.  Then I just have to get a car with a towbar, oh if only I had a Volvo estate...............................

The thought of this on the back of an Old English White, Morris 1800S with a periscope on the roof and the rear mudflaps dragging on the ground. Is giving me the horn.

It looks like my Spot-On caravan, which always suited either the Humber Super Snipe Estate or the Zephyr...

Here's the guff anyway...

Excellent runner, good on fuel, very reliable, has a tow bar, bodywork is good for the year, mot'd until March, no tax, tyres are good, well worth viewing. Cash on collection. Electric front windows and sunroof.
