eBay tat volume 3.

This looks a bit crumbly but these things just look so right. Funnily enough a LWB daimler of this ilk may well have fell into the possesion by complete accident*. Only problem is it's 5m long so trying to find somewhere to keep it is proving tricky.

I've looked at the interior and am now away for a lie down

Blimey, these are getting cheap. This 08 Laguna 1.5dci in decent spec is £2300 on facebook.

There doesn't seem a huge amount of takers at that either.

A 1500 Maxi is a 4 speed as well IIRC.

is that right? Never heard of a 4-spd Maxi before.

Another car to suffer at the hands of satin black rattle can. It was beige as well too!

Looks like a properly half arse job too I bet if you spend an hour with a rag and a bottle of thinners you'd have it looks resplendent in beige once more.

i just give it a quick sand and sprayed over it

Maybe not. Next stop shitehawk auto salvage.

That's the cable gearchange for you, it has five, but you will be lucky to find four

shock and horror, a 1970 car (the Maxi) with the yellow reflective plates, might start a trend and get more to ditch those black and silver plates!!! anyone these days would think that no pre 73 car had reflective plates !!!

That blue dolly is tempting, looks really clean for £850. These non Sprint models offer excellent VFM.

That granny estate on the previous page has already sold. Those steel wheels look like Cortina wheels, these MK2 Granada's didn't come with those steelies (I am sure they should be a black and silver steel wheel on all base pre-facelift MK2's)

Edit*

these wheels

Here is my Jaguar xj40, used to be blue but i started to make it into a rat rod jag and started respraying the car in satin black. It could probably do with another coat to even bits out but i kept the moody look of it as is

Oh aye, have you decided it looks shite and you wish you'd never done it, and you fully accept that you are a fat-ankled swan molester?

Due to the fact of the paint work im asking only 400

That sounds like a yes to me

^^^ all other things being equal, Id pay 400 for it, give it a quick blow over in a non arse colour and smoke around in it for a while.

However the type of fud that does that to the paintwork is often the type of fud that thinks servicing is optional and the best way to fix electrical faults is to remove the warning bulbs.

£400 for this unremarkable 140k 623 manual with no MOT or tax and located in Exeter so pissing miles from everyone. He's had this on about half a dozen times and never had a single bid, can't think why

Given that I've just watched one with (short) tax and test sell for £156, he really is in cloud cuckoo land. Mind you, winning bidder had 1 feedback, so that one might also find itself being relisted...

Yes definitely all pre-face lifts had black and silver steels, but they can't be Cortina wheels- too many nuts.

I thought at first they were mk1 Consul wheels , but they haven't got lugs for hubcaps. Not sure if Granadas with full wheeltrims were different, they might have and they might also have been wider 6" as opposed to 5.

I reckon that Mk 2 Granada Estate originally had the full wheeltrims, but they've gone. When I had my MK 1 hearse,it had the same wheels as the Mk 1 Consul shown, with lugs for hubcaps,& full trims which fitted onto the lugs. The spare looked the same, but didn't have the lugs,so when I tried to put the Mk 1 trim on,it wouldn't stay there.Somebody told me the spare was from a Mk 2  :-o

That Cavalier just looks wrong somehow with those orange indicators.  Lovely in every other respect though.
