Monsieur Testicolo, is it not worth buying that P11 and scrapping it? Wheels and decent tyres, towbar, ancilleries possibly even some panels and then weigh the rest in? Sub £150 certainly I think that would be the way forward.

Everyone needs a scrapper in their life.

That Ass-Spire thing needs to join my virtual Mass Grave For Cars That Pretend to be Other  Cars, or at least it would if said cemetery was not already full of Bentley-ed C300s.....

Think it's been on before as I'm sure they couldn't have sold more than one of these hidious awesome beasts

won't even admit to owning it.

That is absolutely stunning. I love the way at the back where, instead of making some bespoke doors to fit, they've just nailed another bit to the top of the originals; also the faux Belfast Sink and gas stove which make it look like a 1950s bed-sit

When I win the Euromillions, I'm going to buy one of those nasty VW Flying Spur things, fit it with cheap 22" flaking chrome wheels with Chinese off road tyres. Then attach an egg crate grille and fake Chrysler badges,

No, I saw the aftermath, he lived a couple of streets away and my dad took me with him to laugh,I mean help clear up.

Could be something to do with the ' bus like' steering wheel position on ADO 17s or maybe he was pissed, this was the 70's and he was a bus driver going in for an evening shift!

I once parked on a slight incline and didn't fully knock the box into P... Just got in and stood on the brakes before it rolled too far though...

To be fair that probably would turn out to be a cheap way of getting a towbar, but I can't be bothered with the hassle of shifting it about!!! I have found a new towbar kit for £100 so if I get desperate I'll buy that. Theres also a secondhand one on the bay for £38 which looks like the right one but its collection only and a bit of a trek. Might go and get it on Tuesday if I'm feeling energetic.

Fair enough, Im planning a trip to collect a SORNed 17 year old rusty Maverick  (WCPGW?) and that seems quite a faff really at the mo.

Sometimes you have to wonder if its worth the effort.

Drop the tints and I'd happily steam about in this too.It must be like trying to parallel park a canal boat mind you.

I actually like this.

You could pretend to Joss Ackland in lethal weapon 2, drive with the window down shouting "diplomatic immunity."

This is stupidly, stupidly cheap at the moment, even given the lack of T&T.  I'm half tempted myself, even though I've already had one, I have nowhere to put it, and it's nearly in Wales.

A train ticket to Worcester is £30, tax is £145, MOT £25 round me, and car £100.

I'm having very, very silly ideas about that Twingo that would cause my parents to hate me.

Parallel parking a canal boat is actually not very difficult - we managed it on Scooters's stag do.  Did a three point turn at one stage, as well, although that might* have held up traffic for a bit.

This means you must buy the Merc.

This is less than hour away from me and a no sell / relist so I still have to think about it. Sunroof is a downer. Pogweasel red is a good colour. Does it still work? Crap advert = no sale.
