If you're concerned that it's not dangerous enough, a Polo G40 supercharged engine will slot straight in.

I've never driven or even been in one of these so I might be wrong but considering it's made primarily of reconstituted cardboard and rust, that would probably be an utterly terrifying way to die. What a way to go though.

Stimson Mini-bug.

All photos have been taken when it was last on the road several years ago and are not indicative of its present condition.

The story of that Singer being saved has put a big smile on my face (even though the pessimist in me is still reminded of all the equally interesting classics that did fall victim to the scheme).

"Needs turret welding"

Also not bothering to service in 30,000 miles does not constitute "full service history"

Apologies in advance, I've had a bit of a crappy day and I'm feeling a bit pedantic.

No, it is full service history, as its the history of the servicing, complete .... It's just that servicing is not up to date ;)

I had this argument with the seller of a car a while ago, when I checked the history it showed cambelt was overdue by 10k and it hadn't had an oil change in 2yrs. The the history may be complete, but the service schedule has not been kept.

GR3 grammar, spelling, punctuation, and geography, skills, too.

vehicle is located at my country house, just north of sheffield on the derbyshire boarder,so a nice drive out for you!!.

His username is "postmanshere".

Must be the fucking mong who delivered me a signed-for letter. Without bothering to ask for a signature. And failed to note the minor detail that I was, quite clearly, the SENDER (the other label had been placed in the bottom right-hand corner and read: "for the attention of Mr. so-and-so").

With all that said, the car does look pretty nice. As it should not be very far from here, I may go to have a butcher's and try to wind up the seller.

they extremly easy to work on even for the shyish diyer.

PS: I have to relist this as the last buyer (nighstalkeruk) was a timewaster and neither paid and picked the car up nor even contacted me after various attempts.

Therefore, please no timewasters!

I had the double of this Sierra years ago, which I also paid £350 for. It was gr9 until one of the rear quarter windows fell out on the dual carriageway and it blew it's head gasket.

Hmmmmmm...

its on a Q plate as it was stolen recovered . dvla can put original plate for year of manufacture on it if required. (1992) J plate ?

Don't think so!! (I bow to the superior knowledge of shiters tho)

So in summary, dodgy car + dodgy photos = dodgy seller?

I currently have the hots for this Sherpa. It's a bit salty at £1995, I think (although not if you compare to equivalent VeeDubs, obvs).

Check out it's former companions in hippy-living in the background. Is that a Bedford TM?

I saw a Toyota Avensis SR the other day and for some bizarre reason I have developed a fetish for them.

They are too expensive, big, thirsty and completely not suitable for my motoring needs.

Gah, 147bhp? Is that all? I thought those VVT-i's were all like "VTEC kicked in Y0!!"

Still I suppose the average AvensiZZzzzzz driver would find power of that magnitude comparable to being strapped to a rocket to the moon...:shock::shock:

Jeezus what a mong.

15 words mis-spelt out of 41, quite an achievement, even for round these parts.
