"Screaming Chicken" is actually the accepted phrase for the Trans Am (not Firebird) bonnet decal among Poncho aficionados. There were 39 different ones throughout the lifetime of the series. Screaming chickens that is, not Pontiac fans.

This is an exceptionally nice restoration/mild customisation. I don my hat to the restorer and shake my head in disbelief that the current owner actually wants to sell it. This car would command in the neighborhood of $30k in the States.

Blimey. That BX price is remarkable for a non-turbo. Wonder if the buyer knows it's a non-turbo? An odd spec really - all mouth and no trousers. Sports seats to hold you in as you unleash a furious 71bhp!

Sold for nearly £1600, Sounds like strong money to me, maybe it's a sign of their values now going up?

I sold my BX last year so values are sure to rise.  Also look for Pug 205 values increasing, Porsche 924s already seem to be climbing.

 

As soon as I get rid of the Octavia of Despair their values will rocket too, more fool the new owners

I know many NA Pug 306's came without power steering, needed arms like Popeye to park the buggers unless you stuck 40psi in the front tyres.

 

ISTR the same applied to some 405's, ridiculously heavy to steer...would the same apply to a lower spec (not that one above with its posh seats) BX?

Hello my name is cort16 and I lick BMW's. It all started with a 3 series but over the years i've been jacked up on m535i's, 740i's I even dabbled in a baur convertible to my eternal my shame.

Recently after being clean for over a year I started to reach out to my family but relapsed and bought an E60 5 series now they want even return my calls.

Even though I need to get clean I need a lick of this A-grade german gear. Just a lick of this and I'm done.  I tell you I'm DONE!
