Morris Minor 1953

^not sure if that's the manufacture date or the number of parts it comes in.

I was a bit confused by those large white 'reel' shapes. Turns out they're new wheels. I thought it was five of those 'catering' size bog rolls. I thought the seller was being really thoughtful. That many might just last you through all the long days and nights you'd spend at 'the unit' putting this load back together.

Wow!!!! That is very cool.

I thought you'd like that. :)

It has a few watchers already - I was surprised it hadn't appeared on here yet.

EDIT: From the photos, it looks really quite sound. The BIN price seems reasonable.

Yes, this too was found in a barn. Proabably quite a wet barn judging by state of the boot floor.

Bonus Avenger makes it look like they're posing for a '70s 'budget family saloon head-to-head' road test.

Top Renault posting skills, mouseflakes. That 18 estate was taxed up to September last year too.

I thought it might have gone by this morning.

Ooh! I wonder if the interior still has that 'New Caramac' smell?

You walk into a Ford dealership only to find you have been Gary Sparrowed back to 1991.

Not far off, 193 or something. The missus has got a floppy top one as a summer car and whilst it's not fast it's certainly brisk enough off the line. In fact I think the figures for the 230k and the 320 are pretty similar, wish I'd bought a 430 as they're cheaper and not much thirstier, but she fell in love with hers because it's bright red.

I had a 320 Coupe as a main driver until late last year, silky smooth and good on fuel for what it is. Wooden steering main minus point. Liked it a load more than I expected, fab tourer.

Yes I think the 320 suits the nature of these far more than the rough 4 pot, yesterday I drove my Dad's old SLK and thought the 230k suited it much more than the CLK. Can't see us ever changing it, she had it for her 40th and she's 50 in 3 years, maybe I'll start earning good money again and find a nice cheap SL55 to compliment it ,for then!( or more likely some Tescos flowers and some cheap bubbly)
