The oil feed banjo bolts that feed the oil rail that lubes the cam can break/fall off/ go wrong- so they are often replaced.

I wonder how many horses heads found their way next to the pillow of whoever at Maserati decided a Volvo V40 with Audi 80 headlights was a good idea.

i've seen this advertised, and have serious wantage moistness for it, i wonder just what it needs to bring it back to life, and what is the spare situation like in this country?

i suppose in Holland that's no big problem, but i cannot speak Dutch......

Great bunch of guys involved with these cars belts are readily available i think about 150 £ for pair . Daf owners club are brilliant as are essex dafs and Danny at daf hobby in Holland is very helpful has English on web site and also speaks fluent English. .. be prepared to learn about the transmission which is relatively simple once you study a bit and youll have great fun...

It's a 2.0 V6. I'd quite fancy one but I'm told that the gearbox (5speed Auto) isn't the best suited.

Ah, I thought it was a 2.5, my bad, still interesting though.

I'm having thoughts about this, It's very local, 1 owner from new and looks to be mint. Good value too. Anyone want to buy a cheap 190E?!

This VP Montego looks a bit of all right and will be almost unique over here, I reckon. T&T included, all for c.£600 BIN. Shame there's no centre caps, as the wheels are my favourite bit of these.

Still, I'd cheer up once I got behind the wheel and basked at all round electric windows and what must be the most 1980's stylised heater controls.

Almost as good as the squares motif on the binnacle of a Bedford CF2.

Most of these are tastelessly modified, so bask in the unbridled glory that is a an XD Falcon ute that hasn't been dicked about with. Manual, too.

After witnessing numerous others sporting shit wheels, matt black paint jobs and wanky personal plates, it's refreshing to see the unfussy design of the original. Those steel wheels give me the horn too but then I am a bit odd.

The wife's feedback is that it is like somebody farted rivets.

I really like that! Shame it's so bloody far away. Sounds like an 'honest' car from the ad.
