Re the Mercedes:

I am selling this car on behalf of a friend who would like to see the car restored to its former glory and elegance to take her to her wedding later this year.

So she wants you to restore it and then give it back to her for her wedding. A well known comic actor was doing this but died before he could?

Fuck me, just hire a fucking Mk2 Jag woman.

Anyone spotted where the seller resides? Idiots Ringpiece. Or something like that.

Why can't he say who it is? Let's make it a quiz... My guess is Norman Beaton from Desmonds?

I guess John Duttine from "Dear John"

So if you bought it, razzed it, and banger raced it, would the family have any legal comeback? If I were to purchase said vehicle and export it to Nigeria immediately, would I find myself in front of a beak on charges of "altering wedding plans under section 120 of the just made it up act"?

Maybe They should just call Fuzz Townsend / Mike Brewer / Bernie Fineman

^ I don't believe John Duttine is dead.  Although maybe he just pretended to be dead to get out of doing up wedding cars for mad people.

Meanwhile, have we had this yet?  Rather salty, yet at the same time very sweet:

I've seen this about at the local shows, the old boy who owned it died a few weeks back, It's actually really nice, especially the interior. At £1200 it's a bargain i think. I took these back in 2011.

And yes, I am tempted, a nice set of wheels and a slight drop (yo) and it would set it off to a tee.

^ GR9 for being a lower powered version of Wuvvum.  Do it Trig.  (Jury's out on the lowering, mind you.)

Mmmmm, Monaco.  Looks like a nice one too, with 10 months ticket and 55k on the clock plus it still has the matching suit carrier.  Would.

Cheeky wedding bitch would have to write a contract of some sort saying that the money you pay is not for the car, it's some sort of reverse deposit so maintaining ownership.

Which if done properly with a qualified legal person to oversee it, sounds like it'd cost more than a wobbly-arched Daimler for the day.

That Volvo is supa nice. It'd make a nice replacement for the merc trigger.

I wondered what that flap on the side was for
