  1. I remember a Carlton, white, under a lean to, mossy as feck. Sold on the bay then punted by the likes of KGF as one owner low miles. Anyone remember it? I ask as a mates I tested in a 6 series BMW coupe at the NEC. It's appeared on MOTs out the blue last year. Deceased estate allegedly. Bought. Pimped. Now being sold. Reg C88 DKK
  2. Have a nose in the For Sale/Wanted. I'm thinnnig my collection of mini shite if anyone's interested
  3. For Sale job lot shite mobiles various. All dusty cos I'm a lazy bastard. The American customs, the Capri and Skoda were £150. Make me an offer on the lot. I'm near Maidstone, Kent. Could possibly post if siutably swayed by pounds Sterling. PS for those hard of thinking - 'job lot' means I won't sell the A Team van for 50p including P&P
  4. Exactly that. Afraid I have no tie dyed hoody though
  5. Picked this weapon up from Colc a week ago, who, it transpires only lives a foo miles away. Went and perused. Struck deal. Paid. Aaaaand spent more time looking at old furniture and discussing same with He and She than I did looking at car. Ffwd. Drove to Dungeness on Sunday and all DPF hell brakes loose with associated lack of Go. Get home. Sulk. Check and find split vacuum hose from air box to vacuum pump. Fix. Goes like an absolute bustard. Hurrah!!! Ffwd again. Buy Honda Prelude wheels as per pic. Get centres machined. 63.1 to 67.1 Fit wheels. Order tow bar. Spent comsiderable time today removing boot trim and rear bumper. Ffs the side rails actually go IN the chassis rails. Cut out back of double skinned chassis rails. Fit towbar. Refit bumper. Drive to Co Op for crusty rolls for lunch to celebrate a job well done. Biddy reverses in side of back bumper. Fucksticks. Make sure biddy OK. Just bit of paint. Charge her £20 for the Farecla G3 I'll probably never buy. Move on. Get home. Frying steak in crispy rolls with blue cheese. Win. The End
  6. I went to Mlada Boleslav En route to Auschwitz a few years back. Did a solo trip on my bike. Went to the Skoda museum, got talking to a nice lady there a mentioned to her via German and English that I thought they meant 'concept' vehicle not 'concrete'. Also went to Kutna Hora to the ossuary.

  12. They are a pleasure to work on. Maybe as they are RWD? On these it's just pre electric everything so a lot is vacuum controlled so easy fixes. What you can buy genuine and cheap is stunning. Look on ebay for front tow eye cover, £10- 15 s/hand. New? Less than ten painted your colour.
  13. Will now come with standard wheels as well as those fitted
  14. It was supplied by MB Oxford. I think I've got the invoice too I seem to recall. Scary depreciation.
  15. Paddock Wood, Tonbridge and Snodland. Edit: Scratch that, from tonight car will be SORN so will be near J4 of the M20
  16. Saloons, definitely, not seen any estates round those necks of the woods. I have the original wheels & bonnet emblem but the grill bit the dust with a pigeon wedged in it. Original new was silly money so treated it to the plain black. I did have a MG53 anti aircraft sight on the bonnet once but thats a different interest of mine!
  17. Thank you. They're such an unstressed engine they plod on and this year and model werent afflicted with the awful rust issues of a few years previous. Why vile though?
  18. As title my trusty W203 for sale. Owned 4 1/2 years, been a very reliable work horse and excellent tow vehicle. COmes with factory fitted swan neck tow bar with key. Full leather with no rips or tears as regularily fed. Always used original parts except air filter which is K &N and comes with cleaning kit. New AC rad. New front pads couple thousand ago. New antiroll bar and brackets and droplinks, seems its common for them to snap. The autobox serviced inc new filter and fluid. Bonus is it doesnt have xenon or suchlike PITA headlights. Recent auxiliary belt as old one cracking. The 'door locks that bounce' affliction was sorted with new lock springs, the Black Death (yawn) was averted but recutting and replacing the injector seals. Plastic sill covers removed a few years ago and the box sections waxoyled as was the whole under side of the rear end. Basically it was maintained to keep it reliable as I was doing a lot of miles. Thats now changed and work from home or take bike to London so its for sale. Stacks of receipts, all owners books, built in sat nav CD and full size spare and toolkit. Comes with handy spares like genuine fuel line o-rings, genuine fuses yep the big ones. Mileage is 'about run in' at 213k Needs a battery but make a sensible offer I;ll get one, they're only £70 so dont try to knock off £150 for a battery eh! Offers around £1100 for this luxury Deutsche mobile with Carat by Duchatalet armoured car wheels made for them by Ronal! Serious, its stamped in the reverse. Thanks for looking PS I do have the original front number plate plinth but preferred it without. Ben
  19. Oh and you may see burn marks on the seat of the injector. Yep the heat can burn the copper washer away partially. Quite a common thing by all accounts. PS the forums would make you kak yer pants if you believe half the crap the clueless merc owners go on about
  20. Had this issue, the trick is to have the aforementioned tool to cut the seat BUT you need to cut the seat of the actual injector too. Spin the cutter til the bit being cut is all fresh metal ie an even cut. Job done and trust me you can do the clamp up to a zillion ft lb and it will still fart if not cut proper.
