If it's the same as the Mi16 4x4 then it also has hydropneumatic rear suspension, for some reason.

4x4 parts including rear subframe from BX 4x4 complete with hydropneumatic self levelling run off an electric pump.

 

When I was 16 and worked in a Peugeot dealer it was a popular pastime to sit on the bootlid (of the saloons) and wait a few seconds for the electric hydraulic pump to kick in and rise the tail end up, then jump off and leave the arse end of the car sitting a foot higher than it should be for a few more seconds until the pump kicked in again and it sank back down,

 

You could do it a dozen times and the battery would go flat. :-)

I imagine that like the BX 4x4 the gearbox on these is made out of chocolate.

Erm, I built one once with my brother. They eat front wheel bearings and bushes like they've gone out of fashion.

The daft thing is, for some reason those wheel trims go for £20 each on Ebay so you could make most of your money back on those alone!  Looks pretty good despite the dodgy paint though.

 

Very true, though most cars in the shite price bracket are worth far more in parts than as a whole.
