This is temptingly cheap on the Blue, a 1984 Nissan Silvia 1800 turbo. GR8 4 Reliant SS1 :D

With a bit of Googling he paid £420 for this in the summer, it's now a mere £600 which is fair considering the work he's done. Still too far for a casual punt, and too risky to buy unseen

Some cheap shite. It looks like the most bogo spec 850 available with 10 months T&T for £400. Looks pretty sweet.

Gain shite points if it's a 10 valve version as they are a bit miserable. Shame it's not an 850 base as they came with bugger all. Could also be had with one (nearside) electric mirror, which is one of the more bizzare options I've seen on a fairly modern car.

So you had one electric mirror and one manual mirror? Sounds weird.

Mercedes used to do this option, as did Citroen - I once smoked a Xsara 'East Coast' (in that awful metallic piss colour) that had a manual driver's mirror and electric passenger's.

Back on course - look at this!

Bonus points for the 'Gowrings' dealer sticker - either Newbury, Reading or Wokingham I guess, although they wouldn't have supplied it originally being Ford dealers. Jack Hill, Black & White or Hewden's were the local Fiat dealers of the time. Wonder where it's been hiding as I've never seen it before.

I was about to say that it sounds like a LHD/RHD thing but it makes sense to have the electric passenger mirror as thats the one you cant reach when driving. Not a bad idea. Pointless for me as I don't use my mirrors unless I am on a motorbike as most of my first cars never had them.

Just to confirm, that datsun 120 thing is 100% chock-full of wob! its wheelarches are wobbly as fook and completely the wrong shape, i wouldnt touch it even if it was free. Horrible.

This early Mondeo looks quite smart, and Peter James should insure it in 9 days time. :)

I've tried using Leboncoin but it keeps monging up! I try to "seek" Cars up to 1987 throughout France but then it comes up with a map of France, then when click on a region a coffee table and i.pod appears or something. No cars! FRUSTRATING!

That's it! Thanks, Mr B!

Thought I may have needed a 2 pin adaptor or beam deflectors or something..

Hey, that Lebonking looks dangerously addictive. Will have to use translator though as I don't expect this actually guarantees one moist female at all, but it may suit a bus conductor.
