Disappointing advert. Fails to use the words:

Peckham

Plonker

Rodney

Del

Horses

Yellow

😂

Saw a Rialto driving through mumbles last week with the full Del Boy livery on it 🙄🙄🙄.

As it happens I was just looking at that one. I had an 'I've got one of those!' moment over it.

Then I had a "Do I want another one...?" moment. And the answer is "Yes, but...."

Unfortunately I have to be sensible about it.  I haven't got a garage door big enough to get the box in.....and I haven't got the money either, although I see £500 has already been knocked off the price. If it goes down any further it'll be difficult to continue being sensible...

It's got the full set of dashboard switches, unlike mine, and the rare (but best) type of rear light clusters...

Very rare to see a BT Sherpa with the box still on the back - and by the looks of it, still original, never converted into anything else. It's not a camper, not a burger van. It's so rare it would be a nice idea to restore it to period working condition, with all the kit in the back. People have done that kind of thing with smaller BT vans - Morris Minors and the like - but it doesn't tend to happen with the bigger stuff, probably because it's a bit more difficult to live with a blimmin' great van on your driveway, while a nice little Minor van can be tucked away without getting under anyone's feet

If I was a motor museum, like The Great British Car Journey, I'd be thinking about putting it at the centre of a 1980s roadworks diorama, or something.

Mustard mitt I always though the JPS ones were black with gold coach lines/stripes. If that's a 'real deal' white one it must be incredibly rare.

These are a 58bhp flathead 4 carrying 1300kg - so they well live up to their Lumber Hawk moniker. Substantially outsold by the livelier new Ford and Vauxhall equivalents.

Rare survival most did not make it to 10 years old - they did like to rust. Very saltily priced at £7000.

I always assumed they were black as well. Maybe that's the only white one left.
