That’s a 214 SEi, they were actually really nice cars those run out models. Definitely a cut above the Escort etc at the time.

Yeah, he has no mechanical knowledge however, so I wouldn't take whatever has been written too serious. He didnt even have a battery for the car.

It is indeed. He recently had it towed as people got inside of it searching for valuables, apparently the locals complained about it.

Merit were not special. It was the base trim. This is one above base as it has a turbo. 👍🏼
