I love those early Favorits. I owned one in 1992, a "J" registration one, that looked identical to this one, and it was a lovely car. The early ones embodied that ruggedness for which Skodas  were famous, but with the more normal arrangement of front engine and drive, together with much better handling than the Estelles. All in all, this would make a great classic starter car for anyone looking for one.

Pro-level Aldi shopping there. Snackrite crisps, Vive cola and orange fizzy pop, Red Thunder. Cans of Taurus cider too if I'm not mistaken (they look quite like Strongbow so could be that)

It's lovely, but loses points for having an automatic gearbox and too few cylinders, and for wearing WTF? tyres and being slathered in its own body weight of tyre shine. 

Further points deducted for the wanky write-up. And for...

As with many Rovers of this era there are a few quirky electrical issues

...the fact that it's broken. And two grand.

"Windforce Catchgreg P100" has to be up there with "Luckyland Happy Gallop" in the comedy tyre names.

 computerised MOT records only began in 2005 or so

so it simply means its not had an MOT since 2005 or there abouts :) 

(ie if its been laid up in a garage since 2004 on SORN or something, it wont have any MOT history online and ya get the above result)

That is fabulous. Even if it was all fibreglass that would still be bloody impressive but it says its carved. So... 

a) how long would that take. 

b) how much would it weigh. 

c) how many funerals has it done in 108,000 miles. 

£13,995 seems like a bargain but I guess the market is limited.
