I had a Cortina 1.6 GL estate.  Paid £50 for it with 3 months' MOT.  Void bushes were on their way out mind.

They used to be the classic 200 banger. I had a £150 crusader with big chrome wheels and 12 months mot on it. It drove well too. Those days are long gone.

My dad had a new 1.6L estate in 1978, replaced his Mk3. The Mk4 was (sahara?) beige and we all loved it. Both (PEM 120T and ONB 903P) still on database, but probs long gone.

There must be thousands and thousands of listings on eBay right now, but this is surely the shittest.

Bloody hell - a few cars ago I'd have been up the A583 quicker than a whippet with a bum full of dynamite for that exact colour and  spec

It must be 100% impossible not to wake up half-pissed and stick your knob through the back window of this.

maybe for the lighting collector who wants to advertise they have a 10W SOX lamp for sale? LOL

(they are quite rare and sought after, being the smallest SOX lamps made commercially, I have tried a number of times over the past 10 years to get one but always been outbid when they crop up)

That is one ugly looking car.

The front nose looks like a Seirra, that's been in an accident.

The back end looks like an americ a n version of the mk2 cavalier convertible, and not in a good way.

They're not the most inspiring Mustang to look at, but they're still a sight better than the Mustang II.

I always thought the earlier Fox-body Mustangs were a better looking car, at least from the front.

I don’t mind a Fox body, bizarrely, but the rag tops really do look grim.

The hardtops look ok...... provided they’re pepped up with a set of billet 5 spokes, and preferably  have a screaming 347 Windsor under the “hood”
