Crap body kit & claims of 145mph; 130 if you're lucky! Bugger me, 120mph was bad enough with the dodgy brakes these things came with.

There's a lot of tat on that Mini.  However, it's the 'rare future classic' flareside Transit that's up for grabs here.

I was just looking at the Bedford tipper, you’d posted and thinking how  desirable they are to older Gipsys, but then thinking maybe not so much  now as Transits will be what any gipsy under 50is going to be nostalgic about. So it’s logical that something like this is a future classic just like a Saxo or Clio to non travelling 40 something’s rather than the Morris Minors of their fathers,.

This theory could be skewed by the fact that life expectancies in these communities is significantly lower than non-travellers, , ie a middle aged gipsy is in his 30’s.

Agree on the hideous body and rims. But I had a 1600 Coupe that would show 120, that didn’t like stopping either, especially compared to the R17 Gordini I had before the Beta, performance and handling were almost identical apart from the brakes.

For younger listeners, this is what it should look like.

And these are the only acceptable alternative wheel

Having had 7 betas of various types over the years, I've had 125+mph shown on the clocks for the 1600's & 140+mph shown on the VX's, even my current one, in reality though I'd think you're probably better taking 10-15mph off for each of them.

PS That's when I was much younger & braver/more stupid given the crap brakes!

Adaptive lights? AMG Edition? Sounds like matey boy has seen an advert for a much newer Mercedes and decided this written off piece of shit would benefit from some made up much newer bollocks .

Makes your diesel one look even more bargain of the year stuff.

Last year, a traveller who was taking scrap from my neighbour told me I ought to sell him my Sierra (presumably for next to nothing) as "It's a young man's car" and added  "what will happen to it when you die? Cos your kids won't appreciate it for what it is"

Cheeky fucker. I'm 46.

Mixed bag here. One of the most annoying things EVER in the motoring word is when someone re-sprays a Transit Mk3 (and bollocks to it being a Mk6.87333, before you say it) and then does the door handles and fuel cap. LEAVE THEM BLACK. But...

'it’s been converted to diesel '

...which makes up for it.

'Landliner V6' seems to transpire into it being a diesel, and the wiring is of Iv*co 'quality'

Here you go, Wuvvum. Weld your back doors up, get the £1 shop spray out and order some £2.99 stickers off eBay.
