And another one - albeit more to the taste of the Yoof I would imagine - the DJ1-R

Worryingly, the shop that imports these (and lots of other Japanese market stuff) is just up the road from here in Dewsbury. I should definitely* visit them, and maybe talk about the possibility of a 20th anniversary model Helix...

My dad had a '79 Montrose back in  1990 . Cool car but his was fecked by time he bought it.  Mum had to sit in the back propping up the drivers seat as the ratchet mechanism had gone.   Chopped it in after 2 weeks for  a brand new poverty spec K10 Micra on 0% finance on Aug 1st 1990

A 4 speed 'box in 1994 was quite an unusual sight. Even bottom of the barrel stuff, such as the Cinquecento etc, were 5 speed.

My AX was 4 speed too.

How awesome is this?

Only two hours from Chester too, just sayin' like.

Actually possibly a bit more than that as it's the non-turbo Cummins so won't be hugely rapid, but it's still brilliant.

I'll be keeping a close eye on this one. Prefacelift 2 litre beater Executive Auto with really clean MOT history in York. Little bit of a trip but not a huge deal.

I have just spent £300 to get my c4 through the test but what the hell eh.

I reckon this is going to be out of my budget, 4 days to go and it's already up to £700. I had hoped it would stay below £800 but that's looking unlikely.  I could maybe go higher if people pay their bills but I wouldn't want to get too carried away.
