My mother had a Le-Car in the late 80's . It went to Mr Clutch for, erm , a new clutch. When it came back mum said it didn't feel right could I have a look.

Nice very late parts bin sierra, that. I know you already know this, but you can tell it has the very late dashboard from the flush air vents.

Live rear axle for the interesting handling at the limit.

One's a an effluent tank framed by rust that's got no second hand appeal and will fall apart the moment you yank the sling. The other is a storage device for your Richards.

1992 Honda concerto For Sale (picture 2 of 6)

This looks lush, might actually buy it. £800 and cheap tax band. Note the old Cavalier behind too. Are these utter shitboxes because they were made by Rover or actually well made? Has a Honda engine at least but it's the rest I'd be concerned about.

All I can say is that my grandparents owned a red one years ago and it was fine as far as I know? I doubt it would have any serious issues.

That might not be too bad. Mantas and Capris had axles and they handled, in a brutal, RWD kinda way. The big, 6-cylinder, luxury-GT lump up front won't help.

I imagine a two litre, four cylinder turbo like a c20let (vauxhall) or SR20DET (nissan) would handle better, but sound much worse.

The publisher of Sports Car Market told me these kinds of cars are called "Fright Pigs"

You could hardly go wrong with this from BavariaMtrWerks:

  • 1984 BMW Other 1984 528e...all in all a pretty car just needs interior, and tires, and they don't know what else...
  • original motor gone
  • comes w/ "Mercedes V-6" motor(not hooked up)
  • tires(bald)
  • dash is a little cracked(not hooked up)
  • interior stripped
  • transmission is on the back seat...loose parts in the trunk
  • "the sunroof is gone and I don't have it"
  • on ebay in Michigan, $400 starting bid, only 12 hours left,  a seller needs money for college thing
