To someone who could weld it must be worth taking on. Suppose (potentially) for £200 it's not that badly priced, in the general scheme of things.

Grey grille didn't even last a year, but dangly mirrors stayed on the base model until the 1987 face-lift.

The type they have been changed to are internally adjustable, so probably just for convenience.

I put a max bid of £450 on this before I went out this morning thinking 'I'm sure it'll go for more than that'. I've just got back home and found that I've won it for £410 quid!  Erm.... hurrah?

That is fucking ace. At the start price of 375 quid a bargain it would be.  Anything less that 700 quid and you'd be lucky. 

There's hardly any 3.2s left.

Until a year or so ago this was in Barry Prices yard an ex BMC/BL garage owner and general British classic fan on the Isle of Wight. It was there for years along with many Allegros and Metros but they were all cleared not long ago, it looks like it’s just been put back on the road as is.
