I’m sure that, or an identical one, has featured here before. It’s like R2D2’s great great grandfather.

FFS Cameron I don't have time to scroll past all that meaningless information, I'm a busy man. Everyone here knows how to do an MoT check if they are interested in the car. 2/10, must try harder.

There simply is no better way to spend £8,750

Edit: Look at it, it's even got 'nan's living room carpet' seat covers and what looks like the all important 'Dymo' tape stickers for the switches.

'Traditionally known as a 'Lady's box''

I bet your internet search history is a bit different to mine, M8.

Oh FFS, the Roland Garros is the beat of the lot, so forgive my overinthusiasm! Anyways - anyone fancy a 106 Graduate XND with pompe Bosch for veggie goodness with MOT till September 2019???

What the clucking bell is up with that Maestro?

Is it the reg from a Mini Cooper? Why does the logbook also appear to have no mention of a Maestro? MANY QUESTIONS.

Delusional mental illness of the previous owner and cluelessness of the current one?

I would love one of these old tins for town work. Would have to be an early boggo one though, similar to this:

But nothing would induce me to part with 20 grand for the old shed. A tenth of that and I'd be interested, but why a 2 grand Mini when for the same money this forgotten gem could be had?

This has the best of both worlds; traditional Gerald Palmer/Nuffield Wolseley with BMC usuabilty... someone listen to your Squire for God's sake and buy it.

That looks like it might be a turbo so possibly an ex race car registered by an idiot

Maybe not a turbo now I look a bit more at it the pic looked like it had the locking ring on the dashpot that the turbos have

For pity's sake someone buy a proper car, not some God-awful euro fucking shit.

Don't be misled by the benign shape. These Sphinxes were a genuine 100 M.P.H. car, and this one looks like a steal.

I don't think I've ever seen a Sapphire that wasn't some hopeless pseudo-wedding car with shit paint and a cheap retrim before, great find! Presumably somebody will come along and ruin that one shortly, too

I daresay 100mph in that must have felt like quite an event for driver and passenger alike.
