Wowsers that 3 series is a stunner. Sensible money too. Pity about the short mot.

Seen that one today. Manual V6 Xedos 6 are amazing cars, the engines in them are incredibly quiet. One of the best cheap cars you can buy, especially for the price they usually go for. I loved mine and now kinda regret getting rid of it.

Apart from the steering. Xedos steering is hopeless and vague.

Still like mine a lot. If It was to get another, I'd get a slightly later rev 2 with cruise and air con then fit early wheels to it.

Slightly scruffy Omega estate, currently 250 quid.  It is, however, a low mileage top of the line dizzler with nearly a full test.  It's a shame (from my point of view) that it's in Liverpool or I'd be sorely tempted.  I'm pretty sure there's a Vauxhall licker or two a little closer than me though.

Claims to be 'almost' a pre-production Maestro. What do we think, is that true or 'I am told' BS?

There is no centre console and only a drivers door mirror.

There is a blanking plate where the radio should be and the aerial point is blanked off.

There are no capping above the door cards.

I'm looking at all this on my phone, so obvs the screen isn't very big. Can somebody confirm my suspicion that that fucking awful green thing only has one 'gull wing' door.

Perhaps like a gull that's been in a fight with a particularly tough knife weilding crow.

Looks that way.

It also looks like the "support" for the door is a lump of fence post.

No, that would be £132....great arithmetic, Einstein

It's the surcharges that worry me

LOL was that just hired from Europcar 15 years ago and never returned? :D

Fleet managers used to do things like that too, hitting some folks in the pocket was the only way to get cars serviced / returned.

I had the opposite experience once. A bit of a panic in an office in the Midlands meant I took it over temporarily for 3 months or so in the late 1990s. Domestic stuff meant staying away was impractical for most of the time so I was doing about 330 miles a day in a Mondeo V6. Services came around very quickly and Fleet were on my case for 'abnormal use' as management cars were on 3 years / 60,000 miles cycles.

The other thing I remember was filling up EVERY day, I could get from home to office and back with about 30 miles to spare.

In the late seventies my mate's dad used to clock his company cars forward so he could get rid of them quicker.

That's definitely a Europcar sticker, I stared at one for weeks at a time a few times whilst doing a shit load of miles for work
