I think the 'banana' reference is just used to make you think it's worth 11 times more, or something. As has been discussed before, it seems to be more about the diffs or what model of Transit that makes the difference. Some are great at accelerating but run out of steam at about 60mph, others just keep on pulling and will happily do 85-90 and actually want another gear. 

That white one is exactly the same spec as my ex-BT one - SWB 80, 70ps engine, 4.56 diff.  Mine would sit at 70 but didn't have much left in reserve at that speed - 75 really was all it had to give.

Yeap that is mine, there are some idiots around I have had 2 that seem to think it is a Sunbeam rwd rally weapon. I have got a wannabe car dealer coming Monday to see it, but as he has a 2001 Peugeot 806 for over 2 grand I suspect he isn't a very good car dealer. Expect to see it in a couple of weeks time on a gravel drive with a bull shit description. If any shiter wants it then get in touch as there is a good discount for an established shitter.
