And buttons and switches. To make 1970s things happen.

I might do something silly and luzz a bid in for this today. £155 with 4 hours left, test till May and MOT history is reasonably rust free.

Anything I should know? They seem like they might be a bit of a riot to drive.

Yup, they'd rot on your drive alright.

They are really great fun to drive. Fine for a daily runabout and has it's obvious size limitations. And size advantages. Depends what you want it for. As posted above they do rust like a Mk3 Cortina so nice bit of Ford heritage there. My younger bro has one. Prefer the Fester myself.

Not much crash protection though, so if you get your head chopped off by a lorry don't blame me.

Harsh.  The bloke is at least a realist:

(And lets see if I can make a profit on the £10 insertion fee, it'll be touch and go I'm thinking)

Clearly it was meant to be funny.

That was meant to be funny too.

Over reaction.

I see that you didn't find either post funny. Everyone has a different sense of humour.

It is very sad that Schumacher (or anyone) was injured while skiing. But I don't see why we shouldn't try and joke about it.

I am sorry if I have upset anyone. I did not intend to.

Ben

The only thing even faintly amusing about you is your hypocrisy:  http://autoshite.com/topic/23704-what-makes-you-grin-antidote-to-grumpy-thread/page-1255?do=findComment&comment=1111800

.

The eBay thread isn't the place for this though.

These are a rather underwhelming motorcar.

Re: Xedos 9 Miller - the internet gets all spooey when it sees 'supercharged' - it was done to improve fuel economy through scavenging, not to win on the quarter mile.

Chrysler must be kicking themselves for not thinking of this.

Many thanks for all the kind comments on the patina paint I applied to my cruiser it's not easy to achieve and takes ages. I wish you could just buy it in a can and spray it on you can't!
