Ringing?

Use for parts?

Put bogus foreign plates on it and hope no-one notices?

As an Englishman I feel that as a nation we are very ready to accept dodgy goods - I have seen so many things for sale that are either dubious or very obviously stolen - and plenty of people willing to queue up to buy stuff if it's cheap and not ask any questions.  I am also profoundly depressed when I see how the fact you can't leave anything lying around for 5 minutes without some git stealing it makes our country appear so different - I've been to France, Ireland and the USA in the last couple of years and seen stuff lying around that would be gone if was here - and the owner would be told they were stupid for leaving it there.

There are a heck of a lot of dishonest people here.

The only way to sell LEGITIMATE goods in Merseyside is to pretend that they are "knockoff" - fake or off the back of a lorry.

I worked with a number of thieves in Runcorn, (which is actually Cheshire, but full of 2nd, 3rd and 4th Generation Expat Scousers, shipped out of the slums into a nice new town, which they pretty much turned into a no go area - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southgate_Estate

Sorry about all the 75s chaps, but I just can't get my head around the class to value ratio. And then something like this comes along and mind is completely flipping blown!!

Connoisseur Diesel with Personal Line leather (I know I keep harping on about it but it's the only interior to have!). It's been to the moon and back but comes with 6 months MOT... £195!!!! One hundred and ninety five quid, staggering.

You can keep 'em coming for me. If I had space I could see myself running one. They look like they should make you feel special when you're driving it. Obviously I don't mean the 'special' that my friends sometimes call me!

I can't speak for the later ones, but the bridge of a well fettled pre-project drive example is a glorious place to be piloting from. I find it baffling how people prefer to be surrounded by black Germanic blandness.

Relisted due to buyer first time round pulling out due to him not having obtained spousal approval.

Please only bid if your wife/ mother/ husband/ bank manager will let you complete the sale.

I can't take the interior in 75s; the wood and leather make cheques the switchgear and minor controls can't cash. It's trying far too hard.

How do I know if I'm looking at a 'personal line' interior??

Rather than black or cream seats they'll have green, aubergine or blue leather (or cloth on the Club) with colour complementing plastics, door cards, carpet, dashboard and steering wheel. It's a bit over the top for some, but just mental enough to work IMO.

I'm going to get shot for saying this....

but with the 75 - I see it as a very 90's British product - like Britpop or New Labour - a warmed over re-packaged pastiche of former 'glories' (particularly the interior). I feel if I had one I'd be constantly reminded of the failure of the British car industry.

sorry folks. Keep 'em coming though!!

Blimey that 'Deep Sea Green' is fairly unforgettable, 10/10 for effort if nowt else

As someone who sells prestige German stuff for a living and punts about in a 2001 75 I can't agree with the quality of switchgear. However I can imagine things took a nose dive towards the end especially when they stuck shitty Blaupunkt stereos in place of proper inbuilt systems. Appalling.

I wonder if the personal line interior (which sounds like an 80's telephone sex line btw) is a reflection of the bmw individual interiors , which are also responsible for some true fucking horrors?

That green interior is class. Mine is the standard but would with the green.
