Ouch that is cool. It's a Studebaker Hawk cut down.

I think Moggies suit a pick up though that’s far from the best .

When I started driving, one of the local cool* kids had something similar: 1275 Midget engine, stake bed, keg tank, Wolfie slots (15x10 with Grabbers on the back), jacked springs, standard axle with a foglight illuminating the diff.  Total early-80s custom cliché.

He got very good at changing twisted half-shafts.

Honestly, why do they bother?

The spoiler is the icing on the cake. Someone actually bought that and said “wow, that looks great!”

In the case of the Lupo above I'm not sure the DVLA do know... according to them it's still green. And has a 999cc engine. I can't comment on the engine, but it's certainly not green so I suspect the change in body type has not been reported either.

Argentina, apparently it's still in use. No idea if this is home-made or not, if it was professionally* made I'd change the company name.

Metro Ranger - not homemade, it was built by Austin as an idea to catch the sporty youth market, didn't get far before the idea was abandoned. Unlike the similar, but earlier Talbot Wind, which was made by Heuliez and actually sold. Not that many wanted them, but it did pave the way to the more successful Rancho.
