Apologies to Junkman as I haven't been paying attention at the back but seem to recall that these were built to a pretty high standard to compete with Lincoln and are a cut above the usual Detroit build quality.

They were considered superior to both Lincoln and Cadillac, more expensive than either, but Chrysler struggled to establish the Imperial brand as a stand alone marque.........they're pretty rare, even in the States.
