Event Shitefest 7th -9th June 2019

Looks like my folks will have sold their house near Tiverton and moved back to Herefordshire by June, which only has one drawback as far as I am concerned - I now need to book a B&B for this.

 

Is one in Tiverton close enough or do I need to be exploring villages closer?

We had two Wifis at Scotoshitefest last year. One was unlimited but shit. The other was less shit but capped. Pretty sure Mr Saabnut let folk use his shower if asked. SF17 had a shower but the woman from the museum got angry because folk were dragging the freshly cut grass through the building.

Wasn't a few folk talking about that? Why cut the grass knowing folk are camping and want the shower?

I went nowhere near the main building after that. Wasn't she grumbling about the leccy hook up points too?

Having had the grumpy bit when I went to pay as apparently the organiser who couldn't turn up was supposed to collect the dues she was quite reasonable when I volunteered to do the job, and she wasn't too worried about collecting every last quid -but I may be this year.

Quite right about the grass and showers, absolutely their problem. We will make sure the grass on the event area is ok, the pitch is probably going to be left to grow to build up the grass roots and go to seed so we won't want much traffic on it. The Groundman is my next door neighbour so please don't piss him off.

Thought I'd actually posted in this already...

Shitefest falls in the middle of my summer leave from work so Woman_RML and I will be making a holiday of it. Apart from the actual main feature as she doesn't do camping so will spend that weekend with friends.

I however will be sleeping in a Volvo.

I shall also be sleeping in a volvo, although not a scotsman. It is moar shite and cooler than my AX of absolute elation and the great green beasty (that green inside and out 820) combined though! Also not a conventional* ovlov.

 

This'll be the closest car event i've ever been to, i r disappoint and pleased simultaneously.

Add this year to it, when I turn up in a Toyota... did it in an Austin last year too, and all 6ft 3in and 21st of me did Chumley camping in a 205GRD...
