Craig the Princess Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 I’m going to struggle to be anonymous with the big Australia Post logo on the package! :DYou can send it to me and I'll send it on if you like (unless you get me obviously) MorrisItalSLX 1
Crusty Sills Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Details sent. Not sure if being able to choose who you send to is really necessary. Like the idea of fully random. Dick Cheeseburger, Uncle Jimmy and Craig the Princess 3
95 quid Peugeot Posted November 29, 2018 Author Posted November 29, 2018 Details sent. Not sure if being able to choose who you send to is really necessary. Like the idea of fully random.I'd added this option at the request of a few participants who wouldn't of normally joined in. They didn't want to paired with best mate or next door.
loserone Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Ah, a veto option. I could see that being handy, or otherwise I could end up sending Sierraman an electric car full of non-waxoyl rust preventer.
beko1987 Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 I thought it was all fully random anyway bar the overseas option? Always has been
95 quid Peugeot Posted November 29, 2018 Author Posted November 29, 2018 List closing Friday 30th. Be quick if you want including
Crispian_J_Hotson Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Secret santa gift* arrived today. You need to be excite!
Dick Cheeseburger Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Details sent. It needs to be random, or not at all. It seems utterly pointless to choose your victim lucky present receiver. The previous setup worked well without titivation. Crusty Sills 1
Dick Cheeseburger Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Part of the fun* is ending up being paired with an unlikely. Wouldn’t it make it more entertaining if you ended up randomly paired with someone you lives down your street/ you’re actual friends with / you’re tinternet friends with / who is the polar opposite/ who was separated from you at birth/ eats only vegetation? Or maybe it’s just me. Crusty Sills 1
MorrisItalSLX Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 :DYou can send it to me and I'll send it on if you like (unless you get me obviously) I might take you up on that offer (unless I get you obviously) Problem is if I do get you, and I suddenly don't send it to you to be resent, you will know I have you. I propose in this case I send it to you, than you send it to a false recipient who then sends it back to you. Simple.

Pillock Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Erm.... it's only secret for the recipient, the sender knows who they're sending to! So it doesn't matter whether you recognise the address or whatever, the message you get from 95£P will say who you're sending to. I can see why you'd not want to spend money/effort on someone you properly dislike, but thankfully I think those sorts of things are a minority on here.
NorfolkNWeigh Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Details sent, but I didn't put my forum name in the message. Presumably it will show that in the message details, I an not computer literate and the IT dept's out.
pandamonium Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Random is fine by me, I don't have any friends. skattrd, Jerzy Woking and Uncle Jimmy 3

NorthernMonkey Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Presumably I’m too late but if you have an odd number currently, feel free to include me.If not, no worries....not sure how I missed this thread?
Crispian_J_Hotson Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 The postal system around here anyway appears to be a bit sporadic recently. Stuff that should take days is taking over a week which appears to becoming average. I've also had two parcels 'vanish' in the last 3 weeks and they never made it to me. I can't see it getting any better in the lead up to happy Christmas day. Something's struggling. I'd like to get this sent out as soon as please.

95 quid Peugeot Posted December 1, 2018 Author Posted December 1, 2018 I agree to a degree but disagee to another degree So its Secret Santa If you get paired with a mate who lives down the road you clock each others address and its no longer Secret Santa Not sure what the numbers are yet but its about 70 now and you ask not to be paired with Joe Blogs theres still 60 odd randoms If theres a case like that fair enough dont let people choose who but let it be random once the local chum has been allocated elsewhere I think that makes sence? I think thats wha he is saying???? Thats the exact reason, theres a couple of members on here that live 3 doors apart, they asked if they coudn't be paired together.
