fotorabia
Warehouse mates Corona needed a weld so we took the wing off..i used a bike spanner for most of it..Took it down Heads Rd for a $60 weld..and the nice garage owner had all this.. In lack of a Limo..the bike gang as we were went off into town.. Next day off to beach to watch surfers in the rain..spotted these They build these boats on the river..so this was a testing sesh..Then came home to prep Viva..started on the button after two years silence..with no exhaust system..i blew all eardrums with 100ms!The new back seat cover! Yesterday we went back to Horopito Motors buy some early 80s Corolla alloys for the Corona..i inspected the purple Austin 1100..its shagged now after a year or more outside..so i aint buying it..http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone008.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone009.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone006.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone009.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone010.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone011.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone012.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone013.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone014.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone015.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone016.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone017.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone018.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone019.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone020.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone021.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone022.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone023.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone024.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone025.jpganybody know what this is?http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone026.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone027.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone028.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone029.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone030.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone031.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone032.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone033.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone034.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone035.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone036.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone037.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone038.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone039.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone040.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone041.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone042.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj287/fotorabia/national%20park/Horopitofridaymumgone043.jpg So we just need tyres on the new rims and Corona will be looking a lot smarter.. fotorabia
Since last report I had to quit the Auction cos the boss' missus was an utter bitch..i switched to volunteering at the local Hospice Op-shop where we turn $250000 a year out of junk..and cos im young muscle {43] on the truck and I know my old shite..i select whats good and bad..its awesum... Last Saturday after a long dormant spell...i had a major Post Traumatic Stress attack...in old talk..i suffer from shell shock..and I had to be ambulanced to Hospital..ive been medication and therapy free with this condition since 1995..i hyperventilated and turned purple and remained semi coherent thru the 2hr episode..Anyways..its all fine..Viva is nearly fixed haha..and some of you know by now photography is my thing...so heres Whanganui and some fucken cool cars...im riding around on a restored big old 1980s 3spd BMX .. The statue is of John Ballance 19th.C..he was responsible for the confiscation and theft of all the Maori land in the area and he is absolutely hated by the locals. They moved him up to now right outside town hall a decade or so ago he was decapitated....and a CCTV camera is now trained on him..in case hes attacked again..anyway..he was a good backdrop for the bike.. Im friendly with cool young stoner Maori guy who dose the late shift at the local petrol station..its only pumps and shop..theres a 1970s tow truck locked away inside..the garage is unused..and theres another big section of land-shed beside that..busiest intersection in town.. This town of 40000 has a hell of a lot of racing cars...100s.. Early summer evening..im still slightly mad..im able to bike-walk into cool as garage..chat with owner and mechanic..take photos and pass spanners....fantastic..its great to see something theres only 2 of in NZ..Chrysler Valiant Coupe...this is cult car..easily worth $40k.. Also building a Chrysler Regal Limo Coupe.. And they were building this Pre 65 racing Anglia which is one of several i reckon are here in town...good mate of mine has an old faded but lovely example.. and off course a deep purple RX7..got be a rotary in there somewhere.. This the Durie Hill Tower..a WW1 war memorial that shell shock victims jumped off afterwards..so they built a cage over it..my mates managed to get a sofa..chair and coffee table assembled on top of it..front page headlines..last year..clever and funny... so..im being cured the natural Maori way..haka..and sitting on boats..islands and beaches thanking my lucky stars....tino pai

You can't imagine them having a statue of PW Botha in Soweto or something. I'm one for forgiving and forgetting but that's just wrong. Waiheke is a funny little place as islands tend to be. Lots of flower power types and a bit backwards. It reminded me a lot of 80's/early 90's Perth as well which was interesting. If you get the chance go to this place in Manukau http://www.extremekarts.co.nz/ 2 storey karting track with a banked corner
