It does have an MOT, it's just that the certificate isn't there. I think that's the case for nearly all the cars there, they don't come from the kind of owners who keep track of their paperwork.

It’s been a bit of a tradition, an old charter or something that a few of us brave the cold/excess mince pies and roll up at some piece of ancient industrial mechanical contrivances. A couple of years back was the Burton pumping station open day, we’ve done the SVR at Bridgnorth a couple of times too.
