It is 3.0 but it's not a Mercedes. Sadly no Maxi diesel, the finest tow car of the 1970s.

Looks like the sort of rear legroom you get in an S60 or S40... :-D

I thought the seat material was a bit plush for EasyJet* but the space was about right

FlyBe on a Bombardier propellor plane. Not a lot of room for broad shoulders and bellies.

Hang on, he didn't want to go alone (implying that there's just two of you) but he's made you sit in the back?

I didn't want to make small talk with the very friendly seller between Heathrow and rural Oxfordshire, back seat was preferable.

This vehicle has a 10 year gap between this year's MOT and the last one but is driving fine so far, 100 miles completed.

There's a flare in case of emergency. ee42b65325f9713875871baa4795728a.jpg

I really want a Dril-Quip SU-902e now.

fukkin Aberdeen, innit? every other airport in the world has adverts for Starbucks and Boots meal deals and fancy perfumes, but the grim granite city one is full of adverts for obscure bits of oil rig and offshore survival training courses.

Do they still have that massive one outside thats about like 20 foot high and 200 foot long with photos of slack-jawed morons in hard hats advertising some kind of safety course?

I'd say something JDM and van shaped

Or a 4wd lucida/estima....The flares on them are located just below the glovebox there.

I almost set the Japanese vehicle on fire, I had my keys in a bag with e-cigarette batteries and it started smoking and shorting. The only casualty was my VAG KEY.

The TOYOTA KEY is fine.

I vote Hilux surf too. A 3.0d non-turbo diesel from the 90's which isn't a mercedes leaves very few options.

Plus it's got grab handles on the A-pillars.

Posted

Definitely a lucida/estima....CORRECTION - Just seen it being a 3.0d....Lucidas only came in diesel in 2.2td petrol 2.4

Used to buy and sell these and have had (no exaggeration) at least 90-100 over the years... many had the flare positioned in a small holder as you open the passenger door just below the glovebox.

Does it have the slightly higher J-roof? Moon roof?

Aren't estimas 2.2 tho?

I reckon either a Hilux surf as already said or a town ace.
