Mismatched panel colour thread.

Literally none of the panels on this are the same colour as the ones they're next to. Staggering.
It's not got a write off marker on it but reading between the lines I think it probably deserves one.

Its registered in NE Scotland and it's a golf. Every panel would have been resprayed due to rust, probably at different times. So it might not be due a write off marker!

That Renault looks class. Properly ace of bASe spec.

Some strange mottled effect has been symmetrically applied to both flanks; the red tailgate may not be contrived as the bonnet is silver.

Definitely contrived.

Admittedly not the worst in terms of panels, but I thought worthy of a post in here due to its strong 'soiled mattress in the back' vibes.

Very much Gary boy in progress, that one.  Next steps would have been unpainted side skirts and removal of the rear door handles to make it a 'free door'.   No self-respecting Gary would have been seen dead with those wheels, though.

I don't want to be too graphic but my cock is straighter than the shut lines on this thing.

I was obviously before my time when in 1968 I had a Austin A30 that was grey over black when I got it but soon I had brush painted the roof in gold, replaced the doors and bootlid with ones off a cream car and a mate of mine who was brush painting his MGA bright red thought the A30 would look better with the windscreen surround in that colour. Fortunately colour photography was only for tich people back then

FIL is on the look out for an ultra low miles X Type pez. Found this 27k example that has clearly had a wing and door, no mention in the advert though.
