Simonsays Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 My boy had one of these as his first car. Served him very well for a couple of years.
Tamworthbay Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 That is very clean, great first car for someone. Or buy the interior for your Nan’s house.
sutty2006 Posted April 3, 2018 Author Posted April 3, 2018 I have had the pleasure of seeing it a couple of times, it really is clean and tidy.

Skut Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Nice to see another HA12/22. Mines done 97000 and runs fine so 34000 is nowt. They are like a rarer but similiarly tough K11 Micra. Most if not all of the front suspension is the same as a Daewoo Matiz if it helps with spares BorniteIdentity and strangeangel 2
Mr_Bo11ox Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I bet these are an absolute hoot to baz round in. Skut 1

chatsharris Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I love that this car has a rear spoiler, definitely needed with the mega downforce it creates!
Matt Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Never seen one with a wing before! I'm seeing many Swift parts in the engine compartment.

For Fiats Sake Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 My mate had an automatic one, apart massive body roll in corners then crashing about over rough roads it was a right enough little thing. Right colour but wrong door count for me!
rantingYoof Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 RantingYoof of this parish had one as his first car. Tom, if you're reading this for nostalgia's sake I'll buy you this if I can have your Volvo? It did 50k after I sold it in January 2005. Or was clocked from 89k back down to 30k. I don't know which I'd rather imagine. It didn't have a rev counter (obvs), but then it didn't appear to have a rev limiter either. Anyway, if this one doesn't have exposed red metal on the doors or ceiling AHM OOOT. Also, if you're genuinely interested in the Volvo you are likely only needing to wait until June...
willswitchengage Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Shared this on the Mongol Rally Facebook group so hopefully you'll get some interest.
chatsharris Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 I would always be a fan of it, but unfortunately my sensible head must prevail as I'll need to buy a motorbike for commuting when I join my new draft. rantingYoof 1
fordperv Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Yeah hes stuck it on there too. Its jamies Dads car, theyve had a pug derv, probably a bad move but you never know hahaIt looks to have aged well, also a big bruce bonus that got my juices flowing was the local reg, nearly bought a fiesta the other day solely because it was local registered, it was RF though just like the rs turbo and the gold mk1 sierra, mrs fp talked me out of it she's speaking sense really as no space
