Banozes are named after a relatively new and not widely known process that produces a synthetic rubber.

Waste banana skins are reacted with Ozone and the fibres toughen but at the same time become very stretchy and can be formed in the same way as other types of rubber.

The inventors from the Dominican Republic presented a paper to the American Chemical Society in 2015.

I think I'd be a little upset if my brand new Mini came with a set of Gitis

That's a serious filler repair on that Corsa D's wheel arch.

I remember when my Dad got a Cortina mk3 in 1976, it had 165x13 tyres and they looked really big and wide. Today they’d look like they belonged on the bottom of you sofa.

Here's a pic off of the internet but I spotted a car with these on recently... FastMove 4!

That looks more like a Chinese copy of a Mini. Never seen one like that before!

Oi! My Ora has Giti tyres and they are perfectly acceptable, no ditches found! Smiley face, wink.

@MrGTI6 I've a feeling that those EV MINI's are made in China (by GWM, same as Ora's, hence the Giti tyres) although mainly for the home market they are/were? being imported here until the factory in Oxford is/was geared up for the new EV model.
