With hindsight I should have posted my Faceboook status as; "I have blown the head gasket on my 1997 Ford" rather than "I've just fucked a 13 year old escort"

Still I don't get out much and a few hours at the police station made a nice change!

This is linked to the grumpy thread - we're off to see Tim Minchin next week - Australian comic with a dark sense of humour, who's written a song titled 'Mitsubishi Colt' and plays piano like some sort of god. It's making me grin already.

He is very good. Was being interviewed by Richard Bacon on 5Live last week and was brilliant.

see, it's all down to individual taste....my mrs thinks Peter Kay & Ricky Gervais are hilarious but she won't watch Tim Minchin!

Anyone familiar with "The Liverpool Scene" and think this is a pisstake?

I thought Peter Kay was funny the first time, but the same old jokes wear a bit thin after a few times as far as I'm concerned. Ricky Gervais is about as funny as being hit by a bus.

'Janet and John' on Radio 2... today's involved 'spit roasts', 'pulling the meat out early', 'covering in juice' ect ect... all at 11.30 on a Sunday morning.

Much LOLage!

The splutters from the crew are often even funnier than the story itself. My favourite was one about a young receptionist who had never been taken up the Oxo tower before.

I don't know how Terry Wogan gets away with it, I'm sure Chris Moyles or even Chris Evans wouldn't.
