Lord Sterling Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Can anyone identify the Black car in this 1981 PIF: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBkmk-4m0p8 At first I thought it was a Hillman Avenger, but the wing mirrors are in the wrong place and there is no window divider on the front windows. Its not an 81' Honda Accord as the bottom window is too curved on the car in the film. I've tried to capture the numberplate towards the end, it looks like 'CWN 807V' but that comes up as a Chevette which this car is most definately not.
Guest technoboy Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 BMW M3 CSL Supercharged <3http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XrAGXnVx_s

coalnotdole Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 This might be a repost but I thought id share it anyway.... This is what i imagine and autoshite version of top gear would be like.... Conrad D. Conelrad 1
cms206 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Possibly Le Top Gear - most likely a Shite Gear feature on why no-one really needs a Lambo.
Spiny Norman Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Would have been soooo funny if he'd stuffed le 205 into the GayLardo as he was passing. trigger 1
RedSparrow Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Hey cms! That's weird I was going to post the same video!Did you find it via a post on reddit?
cms206 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Oddly enough no, was going through my YouTube favourites from a few years back and fell over stuff I forgot about. Facebook got a lot worse shared on it
RedSparrow Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Car related, (sort of) A Requiem for Detroit. http://rutube.ru/video/e449f5f7f42623085e45e2fc3ad0d6d6/
Wilko220 Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I posted this link before but (perhaps appropriately) it got lost in The Great Breakdown. BL training film from the mid 1970s which attempts to educate its workforce not to build rubbish cars. Rather a disturbing conclusion. Worth a watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRyN4XhJ_ms .
HillmanImp Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Just found this link on B3ta. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXo3WckpasU The guy seems to do a few car reviews all equally as odd.
UmBongo Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 One of my fave's is this Volvo 240-you will need the sound too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xejKQOBGTjM Hilarious and I laughed at the RX7 wheels falling off malarky, too.
UmBongo Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Lucky lady! I liked the way that the top Ewings like J.R all had Mercs with number plates Ewing 1, Ewing 2 etc.

phil_lihp Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Not sure how long this will stay up but a highly enjoyable episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efj7in_g3oI I wasn't sure about their plans to change the colour but actually it looks fantastic, now I want a Syrena. Not an £8000 one though.

brickwall Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I like the Police Range Rover snuck in at the back of that film
Vin Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 These have probably been posted before...but I've just been pointed to theses by a mate. Worth a look. 1966 Bathurst 500 - Minis vs the Japanese and everyone else... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reh8yNE6xhE and, Gerry Marshall and the Triplex Triumph Dolmite Sprint touring car, 1979. Great in car footage and soundtrack... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD8SlqqKocA
trigger Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 That's horrific that BL video, I still can't understand why they felt the need to involve a baby in the pram, surely the driver and pedestrian would have been enough for effect!
