Vin Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Scunthorpe 1981 - set to the music of Soft Machine... When you get through the 2 minutes of newspaper headlines there are some gems...A funeral using a wedge hearse and limousine...The cars leaving the steelworks at shift change - Renner 12, Robin, A60, Cortina to spot a few... A Hunter being crushed...As many 'fresh killed turkeys' you could wish for at the market... It is SPECTACULARLY GRIM vonmon 1

Ross_K Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 DTM History - The Golden Years. Plenty of E30 and W201 action, wrapped up in a cheesy 80s German soundtrack. And parts 2 and 3:

warren t claim Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 This has to be in the top ten of "no way would this movie scene be allowed these days particularly with a PG rating" list.
HillmanImp Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=Q7qGzoGKEB4 A field at the end of Fantazia NYE 93. Right load of old chod getting driven home dangerously by a load of people sucking on dummies whilst wearing dungarees and nafnaf jackets. The girl and the black lad made me cringe a bit like. She does not even seem that off her tits, she needs to have words with her dealer as those Doves were actually asprin.
Junkman Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Same location, shittier shite from this year:
RedSparrow Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Here is part 1 of 4 of a documentary about how Trabants are built. It's dubbed in Czech but it was quite interesting to see how labour intensive it was to build the bloody things - they are basically handmade.Part 2 shows the duraplast process which in interesting, check out the lack of any health and safety / PPE whatsoever and the machinery that looks like it hasn't been cleaned or maintained for 20 years.Part 4 shows the body panels being grafted on. Hand drills and rivets. I knew the things were pretty crude but bloody hell.
pshome Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 L'homme à la Tagora est un battant, un dirigeant, un haut-responsable!
RedSparrow Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 This shows the Wartburg factory, which looks light years ahead of the Trabant works. Almost on a par with western european standards in 1990. In German, but again some very interesting footage. Also, am I the only one who uses this fucking thread to post videos now? Or should I just start a new thread for every new youtube clip I find like everyone else?
willswitchengage Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Re Trabants: Watching that, I spent most of my time thinking "what machine would I least like to get my hand caught in"
