Not cheap, but it's an FG mobile chippy, at least it's not a sodding H van done out to sell crepes or overpriced coffee to hipsters

Transit "camper" with possibly the worst attempt at a "flower power" paint job I've ever seen.  Cheap mind.

I like this, although I'm going to hazard a guess that Halfords probably won't have a disributor cap on the shelf.

However,

Maybe it was used by the resistance?

What on earth would make you think that?  I appreciate that if you talk to a Frenchman about the war you will come away with the impression that three quarters of the country (including, of course, all of his family members) was actively involved in the Résistance, but the fact of the matter is that, brave though they undoubtedly were, the résistants were a few dozen blokes running around blowing up as much German infrastructure as they could with their limited resources, whilst the overwhelming majority of the population stayed comfortably in their Vichy-governed homes, keeping their heads down, getting on with their lives and pretending not to notice that their Jewish neighbours had all disappeared.

'Custom flat bottom' mk4 Golf base model non leather steering wheel starting at £99. Basically the bottom rim has been cut off, and it doesnt include the airbag

Cost £££s to make.

No idea how, 10mins with a saw would surely be all it took?

Could go down the local breakers and buy one of these and ruin it to look like this for about £10.

There's a lot of great bullshit in that advert

The vendors are masters of copy + paste, it seems. Their listing for an Alfa 159 goes one better:

"In summery car is a fantastic vehicle that is much sought after mostly due to it's extremely low running and maintenance costs whilst still carrying that famous award winning badge Of Vauxhall".

One of my old housemates had a Nova 1.2 about 10 years ago (when they were just shit rather than retro). One night we heard a load of revving outside of the terraced student house but thought nothing of it. Completely failed to put 2+2.

Next morning we come out to find the Nova has moved 2 parking spaces up, is further from the kerb, missing half a tank of petrol and a halfords stereo.

He didn't realise until he got in it to go to Sainsbury's and it was nearly out of pez!

That Nova was so miserable the joyriders returned it.
