Cavcraft Posted July 6, 2018 Author Posted July 6, 2018 Update: Mondeo failed MOT, something about discs, front suspension arm, bulbs and something else. Quoted about £360, I think. jury is out, probably retire it to the GoG for as long as. In other news it's my son's 25th birthday today, so I posted some old photographs of him up on social media (as you do) and our old mate Reanimation (from RR, NSJK and here) reminded me (with pictures) of the time he came with me to move Mark's car to somewhere else in Manchester. No wonder the lad turned out as well as he did... Supernaut, Dave_Q, eddyramrod and 10 others 13
Cavcraft Posted July 13, 2018 Author Posted July 13, 2018 Things to do today: Buy something you have no actual use for (and that probably doesn't work properly) off a bloke who lives on a council estate and has an actual tractor in his front garden. Discovered it goes forward and backward, haven't had time to work out if the cutting deck engages or not. Probably the latter. It was absurdly cheap though. privatewire, Bucketeer, Tickman and 10 others 13
Cavcraft Posted July 13, 2018 Author Posted July 13, 2018 Also picked the Mondeo up from the MOT place having decided not to have the work done on it. egg 1

Cavcraft Posted July 14, 2018 Author Posted July 14, 2018 Safe tonight, it's Chester Races and all the amateur drinking bastards it brings in. I drove through Deeside this morning in my Astra with the roof down. Old fashioned, embarrassing, stinks, nobody wants to be in it and everybody laughs at it, but that's enough about Connah's Quay. eddyramrod, Skizzer, DeeJay and 4 others 7
bezzabsa Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Mk5 cortina..................... Loooong time since I've seen one on the road!!!

Cavcraft Posted July 23, 2018 Author Posted July 23, 2018 Went to see three 'candidates' this evening, only successful* one of them. This. Is it a Citroen? Grille looks FIAT? Fuck knows. MOT measured in hours (48) and he sills are crispier than a premature ejaculator's undercrackers after three day stint of of filming porn videos. It's a 1.9 probs DW8? CGSB and Split_Pin 2
Dave_Q Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Could be a Fiat Scudo, same as Peugeot/Citroen versions, they didn't even bother trying to put different lights or owt on these hence why you can't really tell. Yes probs a DW8 although I think some of the early ones might have been XUD, maybe even XUD turbo M8. Cavcraft 1
Cavcraft Posted July 23, 2018 Author Posted July 23, 2018 1868 so must be DW8, I think. *Citroen Dispatch. UltraWomble 1
Guest Hooli Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Impressive spunk stain on the door, it's not that exciting really. The Reverend Bluejeans 1
UltraWomble Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 *Citroen Dispatch.I'd have said Fiat with that grille.Weigh in or weldathon and camper for next summers jollies around Wales?
Cavcraft Posted July 24, 2018 Author Posted July 24, 2018 It wasn't too bad driving it back (about 4 miles) but it's got some 'interesting' features. Never mind, my scrap mate has just offered me a fairly good drink on it. Lacquer Peel 1
Cavcraft Posted August 4, 2018 Author Posted August 4, 2018 It seems ages since I bought another motor, so here's today's effort: No MOT and has had an absolute metric shit load of money thrown at it in 2016. nacho man, Burnside, Split_Pin and 5 others 8

omegod Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Don't think I ever did see one of these without the EML lit up , quite like the feckers tho Cavcraft 1
The Reverend Bluejeans Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 has had an absolute metric shit load of money thrown at it in 2016. Mr Wong don't care. Get the fucker in the shredder. There's fridges to be made. sierraman, catsinthewelder, Supernaut and 6 others 9

lisbon_road Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Identical to my wife's. They're all that colour but it does suit them. Tend to throw up loads of fault codes when eml is on. I was taught to ignore them and just read live data. Get through afms but generally quite sturdy and don't seem to rust at all. Cavcraft 1
