It wont work with that pump That pump is only for carbed engines. You need a low pressure inline injection pump. I use them for oval racing on cars where we retain the injection system. I think i got the last couple from Demon Tweeks

I had a DI-engined Metrocab which used one of those Facet pumps as a lift pump and that worked fine - don't know if common rails are more fussy though.

If not, how about one of these?

∆∆ It says it's real, but then it would wouldn't it? I don't know if the car parked next to the "Cobra" is a real one either, it looked expensive so I doubt it was being driven anywhere yesterday though.

Another Saturday, another collection mission. At least this one's started at a civilised hour though. And it's a vehicle I actually have a specific use for rather than something bought either on a whim or by accident. So I'm now on a train heading to a place where Junkmen fear to tread.

On a folding bike in the pitch dark picking my way down a muddy, icy single track road through the Lincolnshire fens. This better be worth it.

Ahh ! Sorry I have a customer that goes from one big money pit to another ( Mondeo , vectra, 407) - he does a 10 mile each way commute , no kids no pets etc . Always moaning about running costs but won’t entertain a smaller , simpler petrol car .

Also me and my wife are not what you would call "dainty"

She used to have a fiesta - when we got in it together we banged shoulders.

Plus, it looked like we were vacuum packed in it.

I can see why you want a Vauxhall - being a large chap too they always seemed to suit bigger / taller people. But a 97k 57 plate vectra c is not a good idea imo

We're never going to see him again, are we?
